1. Who we are

tusciasbakas.lt is operated by Tuščias bakas, e-mail [email protected] ("we"). This policy explains what data is processed when you use the site and what rights you have.

The site's purpose is to show the nearest and cheapest fuel stations in Lithuania based on a location you choose. Fuel price data is published daily by the Lithuanian Energy Agency (LEA) and the companies operating the stations; that data is not personal data.

2. Your location — processed only on your device

• The site may ask for permission to use your device's location to rank stations by distance.
• Your coordinates are processed only in your browser. They are never sent to our or any third party's servers and are never stored.
• You can revoke the permission at any time in your browser or phone settings.
• If you decline, you can pick a location manually from a list — that choice is likewise never transmitted.

3. Settings stored on your device

To save you re-selecting next time, your browser (localStorage) stores only site preferences: language, fuel type, search radius, and your default navigation app. These are not cookies, never reach us, and are not used to identify you. You can delete them by clearing the site's browser data. If you add the site as an app (PWA), the browser additionally stores the site files and the last loaded price data for offline use.

4. Hosting (Cloudflare)

The site is hosted and its traffic processed by Cloudflare, Inc. In providing the service, Cloudflare technically sees request metadata (including IP addresses) for security and network-operation purposes and acts as a processor under its own terms. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

5. Visit statistics

We use a privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics system ("Umami") that we host ourselves. Only anonymised, aggregated data is collected: pages viewed, country, device and browser type, and aggregated on-site actions (e.g. that a route button was tapped). IP addresses are not stored, no personal profiles are built, and users are not tracked across websites. Your location and any text you type never enter the statistics.

6. Cookies

The site does not use cookies.

7. Advertising (future)

There is currently no advertising on the site. If advertising is introduced, this policy will be updated in advance and, where required by law, your consent will be requested via a separate notice.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, and erase your data, to restrict processing, and to object to processing. Because the site collects and stores virtually no personal data, in most cases we will hold nothing linked to you. For any question contact [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt).
